Voluntary Work at WEA Swansea

Wayne Yare writes “I’ve just spoken to a teacher called ‘Jasmine’ at the WEA (workers eduction association) in Swansea and she’s interested in having volunteers helping with her ESOL classes in central Swansea. These classes are delivered with the ‘citizenship’ aspect embedded into the lessons. … this is an excellent opportunity for someone to get some experience in how ESOL is delivered locally … .

    Swansea Bay Asylum Seekers Support Group welcomes volunteer English teachers at our weekly drop-ins – visit http://www.swanseabassgroup.org and download a flyer with directions. Just come along and say hello, or contact Helen (h.clancy@swansea.gov.uk) or Marilyn (marilyn-thomas@lineone.net) to ask about volunteer English teaching.
