Assistant Informal ESOL Language Support Co-ordinator / Teacher

Contract: Fixed Term for 9 months on a self employed / freelance basis (excluding Christmas and New Year period). 3 hours per week for the first month, 2 hours per week thereafter.

Salary: £20 per hour

SBASSG is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teacher to co-ordinate the volunteer ESOL support provision at the Saturday afternoon Drop – Ins and provide some teaching support. It is an informal provision (often with unqualified volunteers) and students attending may vary from week to week.

The applicant will have some knowledge of issues facing asylum seekers and refugees and have some experience of delivering training.

Informal ESOL Language Support Co-ordinator

Contract: Fixed Term for 9 months on a self employed / freelance basis (excluding Christmas and New Year period). 5 hours per week for the first 2 months, 3 hours per week thereafter. Some additional hours may be available as required.

Salary: £22 per hour

SBASSG is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teacher to co-ordinate the voluntary run, informal English Language support to asylum seekers and refugees at Friday evening Drop-Ins and support an Assistant Co-ordinator with the provision on Saturday afternoon Drop-Ins.

The applicant will have some knowledge of issues facing asylum seekers and refugees and have some experience of delivering training.

The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced CRB check.
