November 21, 2016

Camilla writes to let us know that she has just been appointed as the English Language Support Volunteer Coordinator for Swansea Bay asylum Seekers’ Support Group.

Camilla took the CELTA with ELTS at Swansea University some 3 years ago, and has spent the time since then working with asylum seekers and refugees in the Cardiff  and valleys area.

The English language support group runs a Saturday afternoon drop-in session, and needs more volunteers. Please do consider volunteering for this important project.

Details are in here:

Training Volunteers with English Language teaching experience and experience of working with refugees and asylum seekers are welcome. However in house training will be available as required.
Volunteering with us should be fun, interesting and help with volunteer skill development in many areas. We are looking for volunteers that can attend regularly and strengthen our team.
