Unity in Diversity – Swansea – ongoing request for volunteer teachers

October 5, 2017

This guest blog is from Wayne Yare, the project coordinator of Unity in Diversity:

We are currently looking for volunteer teachers to cover our English classes at our community drop-in that supports asylum seekers and refugees in the Swansea area. Ideally we’d like a number of available teachers in order to cover all classes when needed. Our IELTS classes are already covered but we do need help with our elementary and pre-intermediate classes.

We welcome anyone with an interest to come along and discuss how they can get involved.

We open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm to 8pm. Coming early in a session would give us plenty of time to look around and have a chat before we get busy. Ideally between 4pm and 5pm.

We are located at:

The United Reformed Church

Caepistyll street,Waun Wen

Swansea SA1 2BE
