Stafford House, Summer Schools 2018, ten UK Centres

January 22, 2018

A guest blog from Ying Foord, the Recruitment and Academic Coordinator, Stafford House:

Stafford House is an organisation that runs summer schools in various prestigious locations in the UK  and we are now recruiting for qualified CELTA teachers to work from July onwards. This is an ideal opportunity for new graduates to gain some teaching experience. A tried-and-tested syllabus is provided, as well as ongoing professional development and full support from the senior academic team.

We are looking for teachers in 10 centres around the UK. Accommodation can be provided.

I’m attaching a job description and an application form, as well as a poster.

Potential applicants can also find further information on our recruitment website at, where they can apply online.

We have measures in place to support newly-qualified teachers, including:

  • A tried and tested syllabus and materials that we wrote ourselves, so less lesson planning involved
  • Continuous professional development, with a weekly inset at the centre
  • Full support from the DOS and the Senior Teachers

All posts can be residential or non-residential.

And of course, we’re always happy to answer any questions at this email address.
