Survey: teacher identity within the EFL industry – March 2018

March 6, 2018

Today, we have a request for help from three Swansea University undergraduates with their final year dissertation project. This needs English teachers to complete an anonymous on line survey. It is about your view of different aspects comprising your identity as an English teacher. I think it is well put together and of interest as a study but also as a vehicle for expression and reflection.

They’d be delighted if you felt you could complete this survey, wherever you are and whatever English teaching context  you are engaged in. The broader the better. Please share as widely as possible too.

“We are English Language and TESOL students at Swansea University.

For our undergraduate dissertation, we are exploring the concept of teacher identity within the EFL industry.

We would be so grateful if you could take a small chunk of time out of your day to share your own experiences as a teacher and answer some interesting questions.

There are two ways to access the questionnaire:

If you think that some of your colleagues or friends from the industry might also be interested then please forward this email on.

Thank you so much for your time. We am grateful for any participation or support given.

Kind Regards,

Ellie McHugh
