Louise Brown, the Recruitment Manager at Target English writes:

We are a UK based language school and we’re looking for EFL teachers for our summer positions. I wondered if any of your CELTA trainees might be interested and would be very grateful if you would forward my email please?

We have three different positions available:

  • Teaching Only
  • Teacher-Activity Leader
  • Part-time teacher

Job descriptions are attached above – applicants need to hold a first degree (or equivalent) and the CELTA qualification.

To apply, please go to the following page and select the position you are interested in: https://targetenglishinternational.applytojob.com/apply

Our schools run from July – August and we have locations in:

  • Hull
  • Lincoln
  • Preston (Myerscough College)
  • Liverpool
  • Bath
  • London Hatfield
  • London Wembley.

We try to give our staff a really good experience, especially if they are new to teaching, and offer professional development as well as (hopefully!) an enjoyable time. Our package includes:

  • Weekly CPD sessions and observations
  • Accommodation and full board (if required)
  • Holiday pay (paid at the end of the contract)
  • Access to our online database of teaching materials
  • Experience of teaching Trinity exams.
  • We offer a competitive salary which varies between 350 – 510 per week depending upon accommodation/location/experience and qualifications.

Teachers can choose to be residential or non-residential depending on their needs.

Dates are usually 30th June – 26th July (4-week contract), although it’s possible to do 2-week contracts in some locations.
